What You Will Get From This Blog
A guide that will teach you how to register, log in, manage your profile and schedule a consultation for treatment with an Invisalign-certified dentist. This process is easy if you know what you’re doing—and it will make your doctor’s appointment much more efficient. Let’s get started! First things first: Choosing Your Provider The most important thing when choosing a provider is making sure they are certified by Align Technology, Inc., who offers a free service that allows potential patients to search for providers (as well as read patient reviews) based on zip code. When searching for a provider, be sure Invisalign Preferred Provider is selected before entering your zip code.
Important Things For Creating An Account
Keep in mind that if you have a billing question or concern that your information must be accurate. If you aren’t sure, call our Customer Service team. * The first name, last name, email address and phone number you enter will serve as your user ID (username). Be sure to use an email address that is easily accessible because we will need access to it for any account-related emails (for example: resetting your password). * When prompted, please choose a secure password of eight characters or more. This can be based on letters and numbers with punctuation, but should not contain personal information like a pet’s name or birthday. Once your account is created we can change it for you at any time in My Page.
Logging Into Your New Account
First, you’ll need to login into your new account. You can do so by going here: [login page] You will want to enter your username, password and re-enter your password. If everything looks good, click register at the bottom of that page. Once you do, you’ll be logged in! Congratulations! Next step is to navigate through a few more pages…
Forget Your Password? No problem. Simply go here: [forgot password link] And enter your email address where it says Forgot Password? This will send an email with a link that allows you to reset your password immediately. (If you don’t see it right away, check your spam folder!) Clicking on that link should take you back to our site and allow you to log in again quickly and easily! Now get back out there and show us what YOU got!
Logging Into Your Existing Account
They can help reset it for you. Alternatively, if you want to create a new account, click Register in the upper right corner of any page (but not when logged in). Your username must be between 6-12 characters long and contain only letters (A-Z), numbers (0-9) or underscores (_). It cannot start with a number nor include two consecutive underscores. Example: letmein_123 is okay but 123letmein is not. Passwords are case sensitive and must also be at least 8 characters long. You may use letters (A-Z), numbers (0-9) or underscores (_). The first character cannot be a number and you may not use spaces or special symbols other than _ . For example, [email protected]#$%^&*()_+=- \:;'<>,.?/ is okay but [email protected]#4$5%6&7 is not. Note that passwords are case sensitive so MyPassword1 is different from mypassword1 .
Adding A Patient to Your Existing Account
Let’s say you have an existing Invisalign account with a previous orthodontist; before you can begin treatment, you’ll need to transfer your records to a new doctor. To do so, login using your email address and password. Select My Profile from the menu at left; click Transferring My Records in blue text near top of page; enter patient details as prompted. Keep in mind that transferring requires permission from both parties (your old dentist/orthodontist and your new one). Don’t worry if all goes well – we’ll let you know by email when everything is ready for your first visit!
Switching Between Patients in One Account
If you have multiple patients in your practice, you can switch between them by clicking Active or Inactive under More Details. If a patient is active, click his or her name to view his or her account information. Clicking on an inactive patient will direct you back to your account page so that you can log out. You can also access your account page at any time by clicking Profile in the main navigation bar at any time while signed into your account. From there, click Manage Active Patients and then select either Active or Inactive under More Details. Select one of your inactive patients from the drop-down menu, enter a password for that patient if prompted, and then click Log In. Once logged in as that patient, you can edit their information or choose to reactivate their account by clicking Activate Account next to their name. Note: To register new patients using one of your existing accounts, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] . For more details about logging into one of your existing accounts, see here .
Removing A Patient From Your Account
Before removing a patient from your account, make sure you’ve deleted all appointment requests associated with that patient. To remove a patient from your account: · Navigate to Patients in My Account, then click on Edit next to their name. · Under Remove From This Account, select Completely. · Click on Remove.
Benefits Of Having Multiple Patients in One Account
First, as an orthodontist you’ll be able to manage all of your patients from one central account. You will be able to access patient records in one place and schedule appointments for more than one patient at a time. This is hugely beneficial for larger practices that have several doctors working together. It’s also great for solo practitioners who work with multiple assistants or office managers. With a free account, you can still manage multiple patients, but features like appointment scheduling will not be available. However, if your practice is small enough that you are managing all of your appointments yourself anyway, then I’d recommend going with a free account so you can take advantage of all that inVISAlign has to offer at no cost!
